Applied Spectrum Analysis in Wireless Networks" is a high-impact technical workshop designed to bridge the critical gap between textbook theory and real-world field application.
While most engineers rely heavily on software-generated KPIs to monitor network health, the ability to physically visualize the Radio Frequency (RF) environment remains the ultimate troubleshooting skill.
This course demystifies the Spectrum Analyzer, transforming it from a complex instrument into a practical tool for "Signal Hunting."
Through a unique partnership between Terra Hertz and Rohde & Schwarz, participants will move beyond static lectures and engage in a Dual-Band environment.
You will compare the stable, licensed architecture of Cellular LTE (FDD) against the chaotic, bursty nature of Wi-Fi (TDD), mastering the visual forensics needed to identify interference, congestion, and configuration errors that software logs often miss.
Course Objectives
By the end of this intensive one-day workshop, participants will be able to:

Distinguish Signal Architectures: visually differentiate between FDD (Frequency Division Duplexing) and TDD (Time Division Duplexing) signals based on trace shape, amplitude stability, and spectral edges.

Audit the RF Environment: Perform a live spectrum sweep of the 2.4 GHz ISM Band and 2100 MHz Licensed Band to identify noise floor rise, channel overlap, and unauthorized transmitters.

Optimize Measurement Settings: confidently configure Resolution Bandwidth (RBW), Video Bandwidth (VBW), and Sweep Time to capture transient, bursty signals that "Auto-Tune" settings often hide.
